Wil een stof op een bepaald tijdstip een effect hebben in een doelorgaan, dan moet zij op tijd de lever bereiken. Deze passage door het spijsverteringskanaal verloopt echter niet altijd in hetzelfde tempo. Zo is de bloedtoevoer naar maag en darmen &#8217;s morgens rijk, maar rond lunchtijd betrekkelijk gering. Dit nieuwe medische inzicht kan helpen voorkomen dat men op het verkeerde moment het juiste doet. Welke stof heeft &#8217;s morgens zijn maximale effect? Welke stof wordt het best opgenomen als het bedtijd is?<\/p>\n<p>Welke stoffen zijn compatibel met elkaar? Welke moeten samen worden ingenomen om effectief te zijn? Welke biologische stoffen kunnen de werking van andere blokkeren? Chronotherapie ondersteunt het lichaam precies op het moment dat een maximaal effect kan worden bereikt. Zo verhogen we de werkzaamheid. Zo verminderen we ongewenste bijwerkingen. Voor veel stoffen weet de chronobiologie al wat het meest effectieve tijdstip is. Er zijn een aantal moderne formuleringen die echt slim zijn. Ze bevatten specifieke micro-biosubstanties voor de hele dag en worden misschien maar \u00e9\u00e9n keer per dag ingenomen.
