Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question, des chercheurs japonais ont donn\u00e9 \u00e0 des souris m\u00e2les jeunes et d&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen un r\u00e9gime isocalorique avec diff\u00e9rentes teneurs en prot\u00e9ines. Ils ont constat\u00e9 que les souris \u00e9taient m\u00e9taboliquement plus saines lorsqu&rsquo;elles \u00e9taient nourries avec un r\u00e9gime \u00e0 teneur mod\u00e9r\u00e9e en prot\u00e9ines. Ces <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s11357-023-00797-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">r\u00e9sultats<\/a> pourraient fournir des indications pr\u00e9cieuses pour le d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;interventions nutritionnelles et l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique chez l&rsquo;homme.<\/p>\n<h2>Des prot\u00e9ines pour am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique<\/h2>\n<p>Comme le dit le proverbe, \u00ab\u00a0vous \u00eates ce que vous mangez\u00a0\u00bb, le type d&rsquo;aliments que nous consommons influe sur notre sant\u00e9 et notre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/cutting-calories-and-eating-at-the-right-time-of-day-the-key-to-longevity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">long\u00e9vit\u00e9<\/a> tout au long de notre vie. En fait, il existe une corr\u00e9lation directe entre les besoins nutritionnels li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge et la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique. Un r\u00e9gime alimentaire optimal et adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge peut contribuer \u00e0 maintenir la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique et donc \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;esp\u00e9rance de vie (le temps pass\u00e9 sans maladie) et la dur\u00e9e de vie d&rsquo;une personne. On sait que diverses interventions di\u00e9t\u00e9tiques impliquant diff\u00e9rents apports en calories et en prot\u00e9ines am\u00e9liorent la sant\u00e9 et la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 chez les rongeurs et les primates. En outre, des \u00e9tudes r\u00e9centes ont montr\u00e9 un lien entre les macronutriments alimentaires<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/proteins-versus-carbs-timing-is-key\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(prot\u00e9ines<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/chrononutrition\/dont-be-afraid-of-carbohydrates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">glucides<\/a>, lipides) et la sant\u00e9 cardio-m\u00e9tabolique et le vieillissement chez la souris. Ils ont recrut\u00e9 des souris m\u00e2les jeunes (6 mois) et d&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen (16 mois) qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 nourries pendant deux mois avec des r\u00e9gimes isocaloriques \u00e0 teneur variable en prot\u00e9ines (5 \u00e0 45 %).<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s deux mois, l&rsquo;effet des diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9gimes prot\u00e9in\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9 en mesurant le poids du muscle squelettique, les profils lipidiques du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/non-alcoholic-fatty-liver-disease-can-damage-the-brain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foie<\/a> et du plasma et l&rsquo;analyse en grappes (SOM) des profils d&rsquo;acides amin\u00e9s plasmatiques. Des \u00e9tudes ant\u00e9rieures ont montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il est possible de minimiser la mortalit\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge tout au long de la vie en modifiant le rapport entre les prot\u00e9ines alimentaires et les hydrates de carbone \u00e0 l&rsquo;approche de la vieillesse chez les souris. Cependant, on ne sait toujours pas quelle quantit\u00e9 de prot\u00e9ines doit \u00eatre consomm\u00e9e pour maintenir la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique \u00e0 l&rsquo;approche de la vieillesse. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a observ\u00e9 que la consommation d&rsquo;un r\u00e9gime pauvre en prot\u00e9ines chez des souris d&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen entra\u00eenait une l\u00e9g\u00e8re st\u00e9atose h\u00e9patique avec une augmentation des niveaux de graisse dans le foie par rapport aux jeunes souris.<\/p>\n<h2>Un r\u00e9gime riche en prot\u00e9ines pourrait prolonger la dur\u00e9e de vie<\/h2>\n<p>En revanche, un r\u00e9gime \u00e0 teneur mod\u00e9r\u00e9e en prot\u00e9ines a entra\u00een\u00e9 une baisse de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/insomnia-boosts-diabetes-risk-raises-blood-sugar-levels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">glyc\u00e9mie<\/a> et des taux de lipides dans le foie et le plasma. Ces r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent qu&rsquo;un r\u00e9gime \u00e0 teneur mod\u00e9r\u00e9e en prot\u00e9ines (25 % et 35 %) maintient les souris jeunes et d&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen en meilleure sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique. En \u00e9tudiant les effets de diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9gimes prot\u00e9iques sur les concentrations plasmatiques d&rsquo;acides amin\u00e9s chez les souris des deux groupes d&rsquo;\u00e2ge, les chercheurs ont constat\u00e9 que les concentrations plasmatiques d&rsquo;acides amin\u00e9s individuels variaient en fonction de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge et des diff\u00e9rents niveaux de prot\u00e9ines alimentaires. Cette constatation a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e par une analyse SOM des acides amin\u00e9s plasmatiques. En outre, les profils des acides amin\u00e9s plasmatiques d\u00e9termin\u00e9s par l&rsquo;analyse SOM ont montr\u00e9 la corr\u00e9lation entre les diff\u00e9rents apports en prot\u00e9ines et les diff\u00e9rentes quantit\u00e9s de triglyc\u00e9rides et de cholest\u00e9rol h\u00e9patiques.<\/p>\n<p>Le besoin en prot\u00e9ines change au cours de la vie : il est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 chez les jeunes souris reproductrices, diminue \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen et augmente \u00e0 nouveau chez les souris plus \u00e2g\u00e9es lorsque l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des prot\u00e9ines diminue. Le m\u00eame sch\u00e9ma est probablement observ\u00e9 chez l&rsquo;homme. On peut donc supposer qu&rsquo;un apport quotidien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 en prot\u00e9ines dans les repas favorise la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/frequent-napping-may-indicate-poor-heart-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique<\/a> chez l&rsquo;homme. En outre, un \u00e9quilibre id\u00e9al en macronutriments \u00e0 tous les stades de la vie pourrait \u00e9galement prolonger la sant\u00e9.
