La<a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/sciadv.abi7828\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> recherche montre \u00e9galement<\/a> que le foie n&rsquo;est pas autonome dans le m\u00e9tabolisme des graisses et que c&rsquo;est un muscle qui envoie le message qu&rsquo;il est temps d&rsquo;activer le m\u00e9tabolisme des acides gras et comment le faire.<\/p>\n<h2>Horloge circadienne et cancer du foie<\/h2>\n<p>Des chercheurs de l&rsquo;University of Texas Health Science Center \u00e0 Houston ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 inhiber la croissance du cancer du foie lors d&rsquo;exp\u00e9riences sur des souris en manipulant l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/cancer-and-the-circadian-clock-maintaining-balance-for-cellular-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">horloge circadienne<\/a> au niveau cellulaire. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude s&rsquo;est concentr\u00e9e sur le carcinome h\u00e9patocellulaire (CHC), la tumeur maligne du foie la plus fr\u00e9quente chez l&rsquo;homme et la deuxi\u00e8me cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s par cancer. C&rsquo;est pourquoi les m\u00e9decins recherchent sp\u00e9cifiquement de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes de traitement. Les souris auxquelles on a inject\u00e9 des cellules canc\u00e9reuses du foie humain non modifi\u00e9es ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de grosses tumeurs, tandis que celles auxquelles on a inject\u00e9 des cellules modifi\u00e9es pour r\u00e9primer CLOCK et BMAL1 n&rsquo;ont montr\u00e9 que peu ou pas de croissance canc\u00e9reuse.<\/p>\n<h2>La recherche offre de nouvelles options th\u00e9rapeutiques<\/h2>\n<p>Cette recherche est r\u00e9volutionnaire pour stopper la propagation du cancer du foie, car comprendre comment les cellules canc\u00e9reuses affectent l&rsquo;horloge circadienne est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape pour d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes de traitement. Cependant, d&rsquo;autres recherches sont n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9lucider les m\u00e9canismes exacts impliqu\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement du cancer, tels que le g\u00e8ne P53, qui aide \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir la croissance du cancer.
