Ces liens concernent l&rsquo;impact de la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil sur la sant\u00e9 du <a href=\"https:\/\/nigms.nih.gov\/education\/fact-sheets\/Pages\/Circadian-Rhythms.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rythme circadien<\/a> et le fonctionnement optimal du syst\u00e8me immunitaire, ainsi que l&rsquo;influence des rythmes circadiens sur le fonctionnement physique du syst\u00e8me immunitaire.<\/p>\n<p>En ce qui concerne le COVID-19, les chercheurs soulignent les <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32700231\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nombreuses fa\u00e7ons dont<\/a> cette pand\u00e9mie a perturb\u00e9 la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil et l&rsquo;importance de jouer un r\u00f4le actif dans l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil comme moyen de prot\u00e9ger la sant\u00e9 et de r\u00e9duire les risques li\u00e9s au COVID-19.<\/p>\n<h2>Rythme circadien et risque COVID-19<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Horizontal-In-Text-Image-23-5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-36643 alignright\" title=\"Horizontal In Text Image 23 5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Horizontal-In-Text-Image-23-5-300x206.jpg\" alt=\"Horizontal In Text Image 23 5\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev.chronobiology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Horizontal-In-Text-Image-23-5-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dev.chronobiology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Horizontal-In-Text-Image-23-5-768x528.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dev.chronobiology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Horizontal-In-Text-Image-23-5.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que l&rsquo;on comprend de mieux en mieux comment la fonction du syst\u00e8me immunitaire est influenc\u00e9e par les rythmes circadiens et l&rsquo;horloge biologique, les chercheurs ont examin\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s l&rsquo;impact des <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32810450\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fermetures<\/a> g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9es en cas de pand\u00e9mie sur les risques potentiels de COVID-19 li\u00e9s \u00e0 la fonction immunitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Les<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7375451\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00e9tudes indiquent<\/a> que les fermetures et le stress de la pand\u00e9mie ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 une augmentation des perturbations du rythme circadien et des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/how-to-get-good-sleep-during-the-covid-19-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">troubles du sommeil<\/a>. Ces deux facteurs &#8211; perturbation du sommeil et des rythmes circadiens &#8211; \u00e9tant typiques des personnes qui travaillent par \u00e9quipes et de nuit, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un groupe id\u00e9al pour \u00e9tudier le potentiel d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32432519\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">augmentation du risque de COVID-19<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 montr\u00e9 que les travailleurs post\u00e9s, en particulier ceux qui travaillent de nuit, sont plus susceptibles de souffrir d&rsquo;infections des voies respiratoires sup\u00e9rieures, telles que les virus du rhume et de la grippe, que leurs homologues travaillant de jour. Une \u00e9tude japonaise portant sur les m\u00e9decins des services d&rsquo;urgence, combinant des conditions de stress \u00e9lev\u00e9 et le travail post\u00e9, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les horaires de travail de nuit et les horaires tournants \u00e9taient li\u00e9s \u00e0 des modifications mesurables de la fonction du syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Ces changements comprennent une r\u00e9duction de la r\u00e9ponse immunitaire inn\u00e9e, en particulier une diminution de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/ni1582\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cellules tueuses naturelles<\/a> du syst\u00e8me immunitaire. En outre, cette baisse d&rsquo;activit\u00e9 \u00e9tait directement li\u00e9e \u00e0 un manque de sommeil et \u00e0 un sommeil de mauvaise qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un sommeil de mauvaise qualit\u00e9 est \u00e9galement directement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la perturbation du rythme circadien. Les rythmes circadiens <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7030790\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ont un impact m\u00e9canique direct sur le fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire<\/a>. L&rsquo;un des principaux effets des rythmes circadiens sur la fonction immunitaire est li\u00e9 \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fcimb.2020.00096\/full#:~:text=A%20specific%20role%20of%20the,processes%2C%20or%20adaptive%20immune%20responses.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">synchronisation et \u00e0 la coordination des<\/a> r\u00e9ponses immunitaires, telles que la temp\u00e9rature corporelle et les r\u00e9ponses inflammatoires. En effet, l&rsquo;influence des rythmes circadiens s&rsquo;\u00e9tend jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la synchronisation des activit\u00e9s des cellules individuelles, contr\u00f4lant des processus essentiels, notamment la production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et l&rsquo;\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets.<\/p>\n<p>La perturbation chronique du rythme circadien a \u00e9t\u00e9 maintes fois associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une augmentation du risque de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/236859361_Disruption_of_circadian_rhythm_increases_the_risk_of_cancer_metabolic_syndrome_and_cardiovascular_disease\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nombreuses maladies<\/a>, notamment les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ahajournals.org\/doi\/10.1161\/CIRCRESAHA.119.313349\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maladies cardiovasculaires<\/a>, les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news-medical.net\/news\/20191112\/Stress-affects-circadian-rhythm-increases-metabolic-disease-risk.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">troubles m\u00e9taboliques<\/a>, le diab\u00e8te et certains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5945923\/#:~:text=Altered%20circadian%20rhythms%20can%20result,cardiovascular%20diseases%2C%20and%20immune%20dysregulation.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cancers<\/a>. Les rythmes circadiens jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel dans le fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Il est donc raisonnable pour les chercheurs de conclure qu&rsquo;une perturbation chronique et continue du rythme circadien peut augmenter le risque de d\u00e9velopper le COVID-19 et rendre plus difficile la lutte du syst\u00e8me immunitaire contre le virus.<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;importance de la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil<\/h2>\n<p>Comme l&rsquo;ont not\u00e9 les chercheurs, les troubles du sommeil ont augment\u00e9 au cours de la pand\u00e9mie et de l&rsquo;\u00e9loignement social, des quarantaines et des bouclages qui en d\u00e9coulent. Le stress li\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9paration d&rsquo;avec la famille et les amis, les inqui\u00e9tudes concernant la sant\u00e9, les pr\u00e9occupations financi\u00e8res et les perturbations majeures des horaires quotidiens que beaucoup ont connues, comme le ch\u00f4mage, le travail \u00e0 domicile et la scolarisation virtuelle des enfants, ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 perturber le sommeil.<\/p>\n<p>Si un sommeil perturb\u00e9, insuffisant ou globalement de mauvaise qualit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est jamais bon pour la sant\u00e9, il peut \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement g\u00eanant lors d&rsquo;un \u00e9v\u00e9nement sanitaire majeur tel qu&rsquo;une pand\u00e9mie. En effet, la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil a un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/niosh\/work-hour-training-for-nurses\/longhours\/mod2\/05.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">impact direct<\/a> sur la capacit\u00e9 du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC6689741\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">syst\u00e8me immunitaire<\/a> \u00e0 fonctionner de mani\u00e8re optimale. Il a m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;un manque de sommeil avait un impact sur l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de certains vaccins. Selon les Centres de contr\u00f4le et de pr\u00e9vention des maladies (CDC), un manque de sommeil r\u00e9duit de plus de 50 % la production d&rsquo;anticorps apr\u00e8s une vaccination contre la grippe.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant le sommeil, d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3256323\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">importants processus du syst\u00e8me immunitaire se<\/a> d\u00e9roulent, notamment l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2015\/09\/150929142022.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">am\u00e9lioration de la m\u00e9moire des cellules immunitaires<\/a>. Cette am\u00e9lioration de la m\u00e9moire a lieu pendant le sommeil profond et permet au syst\u00e8me immunitaire d&rsquo;\u00eatre mieux \u00e9quip\u00e9 pour lutter contre les agents pathog\u00e8nes qu&rsquo;il a d\u00e9j\u00e0 rencontr\u00e9s et ceux qui sont similaires \u00e0 ceux qu&rsquo;il a d\u00e9j\u00e0 affront\u00e9s. Les perturbations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/disrupted-sleep-increases-risk-of-death-especially-in-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">du sommeil<\/a> et des activit\u00e9s quotidiennes, telles que le travail, l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 physique et les repas, contribuent fortement aux perturbations du rythme circadien, qui ont toutes un impact n\u00e9gatif av\u00e9r\u00e9 sur la fonction immunitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Pour optimiser le fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire et am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9, il faut r\u00e9duire les perturbations du sommeil et am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil afin de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/healthy-sleep\/how-to-fix-sleep-schedule#takeaway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">r\u00e9aligner le rythme circadien<\/a>.
