Cependant, des \u00e9tudes r\u00e9centes sugg\u00e8rent que notre rythme circadien et d&rsquo;autres horloges internes sont plus importants pour la sant\u00e9 de l&rsquo;ensemble du corps qu&rsquo;on ne le pensait auparavant. Le rythme circadien a un effet sur la digestion, le syst\u00e8me immunitaire et m\u00eame la sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire. Chaque cycle mensuel se compose de trois phases distinctes. La premi\u00e8re phase, appel\u00e9e phase folliculaire, s&rsquo;\u00e9tend sur les quatorze premiers jours du cycle. Au cours de cette phase, les follicules des ovaires m\u00fbrissent en vue de la deuxi\u00e8me phase, l&rsquo;ovulation. Les hormones LH et FSH atteignent un pic pour induire la lib\u00e9ration de l&rsquo;ovule juste avant l&rsquo;ovulation.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;ovulation vient la troisi\u00e8me phase, la phase lut\u00e9ale, qui dure environ les deux derni\u00e8res semaines du cycle de fertilit\u00e9 ovarienne. Au cours de cette phase, l&rsquo;organisme lib\u00e8re des hormones pour favoriser une grossesse pr\u00e9coce, si elle a eu lieu, notamment des niveaux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de l&rsquo;hormone progest\u00e9rone. S&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de grossesse, la progest\u00e9rone chute brusquement et les r\u00e8gles commencent, le cycle recommen\u00e7ant \u00e0 nouveau.<\/p>\n<p>Il est clair que ce rythme mensuel est extr\u00eamement important pour la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;esp\u00e8ce humaine. Cependant, de nouvelles recherches sugg\u00e8rent que les rythmes quotidiens, ou circadiens, sont \u00e9galement importants pour la sant\u00e9 et la fertilit\u00e9 des femmes.<\/p>\n<h2>Horloge circadienne de l&rsquo;ovaire et fertilit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Les scientifiques soup\u00e7onnent depuis longtemps l&rsquo;existence d&rsquo;un lien entre les horloges circadiennes et la fertilit\u00e9. Cela s&rsquo;explique en partie par la simple proximit\u00e9 des deux m\u00e9canismes, les deux fonctions \u00e9tant contr\u00f4l\u00e9es par la m\u00eame zone du cerveau. En outre, plusieurs \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que les travailleurs post\u00e9s pr\u00e9sentaient une <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s40675-016-0057-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">incidence plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e d&rsquo;infertilit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;autres troubles de la reproduction<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, d&rsquo;autres indices scientifiques sugg\u00e8rent que le sommeil et la fertilit\u00e9 f\u00e9minine sont li\u00e9s. Il y a plus de 50 ans, des chercheurs ont constat\u00e9 que les rats femelles subissaient certaines pouss\u00e9es hormonales mensuelles dans l&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi. En outre, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les animaux de laboratoire \u00e9taient moins fertiles lorsqu&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient soumis \u00e0 des changements du rythme circadien, comme un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/could-disturbing-your-biological-rhythms-cause-infertility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">horaire veille-sommeil de moins de 24 heures<\/a>. Plusieurs nouvelles \u00e9tudes ont fait la lumi\u00e8re sur ce sujet, sugg\u00e9rant que les horloges circadiennes de l&rsquo;ovaire pourraient \u00eatre plus importantes pour la fertilit\u00e9 et la reproduction qu&rsquo;on ne le pensait jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<h2>Communication bidirectionnelle entre les cycles veille-sommeil et les horloges de fertilit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Dans une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente, les chercheurs ont pris plusieurs groupes de souris et ont <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1177\/0748730419873511\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interrompu le fonctionnement de certains g\u00e8nes connus pour contr\u00f4ler le rythme circadien<\/a>, tels que les g\u00e8nes CLOCK et BMAL1. La suppression de ces g\u00e8nes a entra\u00een\u00e9 une modification pr\u00e9visible de la lib\u00e9ration des hormones de reproduction. Par exemple, lorsqu&rsquo;un g\u00e8ne a \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9, les souris \u00e9tudi\u00e9es ont toutes connu des pouss\u00e9es d&rsquo;hormones deux heures plus t\u00f4t qu&rsquo;auparavant.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, la <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.nifa.usda.gov\/web\/crisprojectpages\/0205709-luteinizing-hormone-regulation-of-circadian-clock-genes-in-the-avian-ovary.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">communication entre les horloges circadiennes et les hormones de fertilit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est pas \u00e0 sens unique<\/a>. Une autre \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re que l&rsquo;hormone lut\u00e9inisante (LH), une hormone qui induit l&rsquo;ovulation, contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 r\u00e9gler les horloges circadiennes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/gtc.12605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">en particulier celles situ\u00e9es dans le tissu ovarien<\/a>. Ces nouvelles recherches soul\u00e8vent la question suivante : qu&rsquo;arrive-t-il aux cycles de reproduction lorsque les horloges sont \u00e9teintes ? Qu&rsquo;advient-il des cycles de reproduction lorsque les horloges circadiennes sont d\u00e9r\u00e9gl\u00e9es ? Les chercheurs qui ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 les r\u00e9centes \u00e9tudes sur les horloges circadiennes et la fertilit\u00e9 chez la souris notent que les petites modifications des hormones de fertilit\u00e9 observ\u00e9es chez les souris dont le g\u00e8ne circadien a \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC2949464\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ont<\/a> souvent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC2949464\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rendu les souris moins fertiles, voire totalement incapables de se reproduire<\/a>. Bien que l&rsquo;homme ne soit pas une souris, nos syst\u00e8mes sont suffisamment similaires pour que l&rsquo;on soup\u00e7onne les femmes souffrant de troubles du sommeil de ne pas \u00eatre aussi fertiles qu&rsquo;elles pourraient l&rsquo;\u00eatre.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les horloges circadiennes semblent jouer un r\u00f4le important dans la fertilit\u00e9 f\u00e9minine, cela ne signifie pas qu&rsquo;elles jouent un r\u00f4le similaire dans la reproduction masculine. Au contraire, les organes reproducteurs masculins ne semblent pas avoir un lien aussi \u00e9troit avec le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/the-seasonal-rhythm-of-male-fertility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">temps et les horloges internes<\/a>. Bien que les hommes puissent ressentir divers effets n\u00e9gatifs lorsque leur rythme circadien est d\u00e9cal\u00e9, rien n&rsquo;indique que leur fertilit\u00e9 en p\u00e2tisse.<\/p>\n<h2>Le rythme circadien affecte tous les domaines de la sant\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Le monde moderne n&rsquo;est pas propice au maintien de l&rsquo;horloge interne. Cependant, votre rythme circadien est crucial pour votre sant\u00e9 \u00e0 bien des \u00e9gards. Si vous ne dormez pas suffisamment ou si vous ne respectez pas un horaire de sommeil r\u00e9gulier, presque tous les syst\u00e8mes de votre organisme en seront affect\u00e9s.
