Malheureusement, ils sont aussi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anxietycentre.com\/anxiety-statistics.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">incroyablement co\u00fbteux que courants<\/a>, leur co\u00fbt total \u00e9tant estim\u00e9 \u00e0 42 milliards de dollars rien qu&rsquo;aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Pour les personnes souffrant de troubles anxieux, ces sentiments sont plus que des \u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives occasionnelles, mais plut\u00f4t un mode de vie. Les personnes souffrant de troubles anxieux vivent avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/anxiety-panic\/guide\/anxiety-attack-symptoms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sentiments de peur \u00e9crasante ainsi que des sympt\u00f4mes physiques<\/a> tels que des douleurs thoraciques, un c\u0153ur qui s&#8217;emballe, des naus\u00e9es, des tremblements, de la transpiration et un essoufflement. Ces sympt\u00f4mes peuvent entraver leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler, \u00e0 dormir et \u00e0 vivre une vie heureuse.<\/p>\n<p>Comme de nombreux troubles, l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 semble avoir un rythme circadien particulier. Alors que la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/study-finds-psychotherapy-sessions-work-best-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">d\u00e9pression est plus grave le matin<\/a>, l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 semble se manifester plus souvent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/2951408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en fin d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi et dans la soir\u00e9e<\/a>. Par cons\u00e9quent, de nombreuses personnes se retrouvent aux prises avec des sympt\u00f4mes alors m\u00eame qu&rsquo;elles tentent de s&rsquo;endormir. Cela a conduit de nombreux chercheurs \u00e0 penser que l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 perturbe le rythme circadien. Or, selon de nouvelles recherches, c&rsquo;est tout le contraire qui semble se produire : Un rythme circadien perturb\u00e9 peut en fait \u00eatre \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, en particulier le soir.<\/p>\n<h2>Liens entre le rythme circadien et l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Les m\u00e9decins et les scientifiques pensaient autrefois que l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 perturbait le rythme circadien. L&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 peut rendre les gens hyper-vigilants et provoquer une augmentation du rythme cardiaque et de la pression art\u00e9rielle, ce qui ne favorise pas une bonne nuit de repos. On a donc suppos\u00e9 que l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 elle-m\u00eame perturbait le rythme circadien.<\/p>\n<p>Pour d\u00e9terminer si l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 provoque un dysfonctionnement circadien ou si c&rsquo;est le contraire, les chercheurs ont examin\u00e9 un groupe de souris pr\u00e9sentant une mutation du g\u00e8ne de l&rsquo;horloge, un g\u00e8ne important qui, comme son nom l&rsquo;indique, contr\u00f4le le rythme circadien. Ces souris, ainsi que leurs homologues non mutantes, ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9es dans un espace qui les rendrait anxieuses. Les souris dont le g\u00e8ne Clock \u00e9tait mut\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicographia.com\/2013\/01\/anxiety-disorders-and-circadian-rhythms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pr\u00e9sentaient des sympt\u00f4mes typiques de la manie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ce lien ne se limite pas aux souris. Des \u00e9tudes men\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;homme ont \u00e9tabli un lien entre les perturbations du rythme circadien et l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/scientists-probe-connection-between-bipolar-disorder-and-circadian-rhythm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">et d&rsquo;autres troubles de l&rsquo;humeur<\/a>. Les personnes pr\u00e9sentant des mutations dans diff\u00e9rents g\u00e8nes de l&rsquo;horloge, tels que BCL2 et DRD2, sont plus susceptibles de d\u00e9velopper des troubles anxieux lorsqu&rsquo;elles souffrent d&rsquo;insomnie ou d&rsquo;autres dysfonctionnements circadiens.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que ces \u00e9tudes montrent un lien clair entre le dysfonctionnement circadien et l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, elles n&rsquo;ont pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer lequel des deux est \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de l&rsquo;autre. Toutefois, une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e cet hiver semble avoir r\u00e9solu l&rsquo;\u00e9ternelle question de l&rsquo;\u0153uf et de la poule&#8230; du moins sur ce sujet.<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;impact de la dysr\u00e9gulation circadienne sur l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et plus encore<\/h2>\n<p>Des chercheurs ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 cet hiver, lors de Neuroscience 2018, la r\u00e9union annuelle de la Society for Neuroscience, de nouvelles recherches qui montrent que les perturbations de nos horloges internes peuvent exacerber non seulement l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, mais aussi une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de troubles c\u00e9r\u00e9braux. En fait, apr\u00e8s une insomnie, on observe une augmentation de l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 chez des personnes qui ne pr\u00e9sentaient aucun sympt\u00f4me auparavant.<\/p>\n<p>Cette recherche a d&rsquo;\u00e9normes implications pour le traitement de l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et des troubles connexes. Bien que le traitement de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence actuel soit les ISRS (couramment utilis\u00e9s comme antid\u00e9presseurs) et la th\u00e9rapie, les th\u00e9rapies qui ciblent le rythme circadien pourraient \u00e9galement \u00eatre b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous avez mis votre insomnie sur le compte de votre humeur, il se peut que vous abordiez le probl\u00e8me sous un angle erron\u00e9. Bien que le stress affecte certainement le rythme circadien, celui-ci semble avoir un effet ind\u00e9pendant sur l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9.
