De nouvelles recherches ont permis de d\u00e9couvrir un groupe de g\u00e8nes rythmiques li\u00e9s au vieillissement.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreuses personnes tentent de lutter contre le vieillissement en recourant \u00e0 la chirurgie plastique et \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres traitements visant \u00e0 modifier les signes ext\u00e9rieurs. Cependant, le vieillissement est un processus qui affecte toutes les cellules de notre corps. Alors que notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ne cesse d&rsquo;introduire de nouvelles cr\u00e8mes et th\u00e9rapies, il semble que le maintien d&rsquo;un rythme circadien sain soit essentiel pour ralentir les ravages du temps. Un groupe de g\u00e8nes r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9couvert et li\u00e9 au vieillissement en particulier semble \u00eatre le cha\u00eenon manquant.<\/p>\n<h2>Quelles sont les causes du vieillissement ?<\/h2>\n<p>Bien que nous soyons tous d\u00e9sireux de devenir plus sages, l&rsquo;apparition de rides et la perte de notre vigueur juv\u00e9nile sont des choses que beaucoup souhaitent \u00e9viter. Les scientifiques ont pass\u00e9 des d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 rechercher les causes profondes du vieillissement et ils ont trouv\u00e9 plusieurs r\u00e9ponses. Au niveau cellulaire, le vieillissement semble \u00eatre caus\u00e9 par des <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senescence.info\/causes_of_aging.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dommages cumul\u00e9s \u00e0 nos cellules et \u00e0 leur ADN<\/a>. Au fil des jours, nous rencontrons diverses sources de dommages. Ceux-ci peuvent provenir d&rsquo;expositions dans notre environnement, mais les m\u00e9tabolites de nos propres cellules sont \u00e9galement une cause majeure. En fait, l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne est l&rsquo;une des principales sources de dommages \u00e0 l&rsquo;ADN, bien que nos cellules en aient besoin pour survivre.<\/p>\n<p>Nos cellules disposent d&rsquo;une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9paration qui leur permettent de continuer \u00e0 fonctionner malgr\u00e9 une exposition constante \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments nocifs. Toutefois, au fil du temps, ces m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9paration commencent \u00e0 s&rsquo;affaiblir. Il en r\u00e9sulte que les dommages caus\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;ADN ne sont pas r\u00e9par\u00e9s et que nos cellules deviennent progressivement moins fonctionnelles. Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente, cela pourrait \u00eatre d\u00fb au r\u00f4le d&rsquo;un groupe de g\u00e8nes du rythme circadien qui r\u00e9agissent aux cellules \u00e2g\u00e9es ou endommag\u00e9es. Ce groupe de g\u00e8nes, appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0late life cycler\u00a0\u00bb, est responsable du maintien de nos horloges internes mais est \u00e9galement activ\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 un stress intense ou au vieillissement. Ces g\u00e8nes g\u00e8rent toute une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;horloges internes li\u00e9es aux cycles veille-sommeil, aux heures d&rsquo;alimentation, \u00e0 la r\u00e9paration des cellules et \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres activit\u00e9s qui se d\u00e9roulent selon nos rythmes quotidiens.<\/p>\n<p>Ces g\u00e8nes sont actifs non seulement dans notre cerveau, o\u00f9 semble se trouver l&rsquo;horloge circadienne principale, mais aussi dans des <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medindia.net\/news\/healthinfocus\/genes-that-accelerate-aging-on-disturbance-of-the-biological-clock-identified-168039-1.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">organes p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques tels que le foie<\/a>. Ils semblent \u00e9galement contribuer aux changements que nous associons au vieillissement. Lorsque notre organisme est soumis \u00e0 un stress, ces g\u00e8nes sont activ\u00e9s pour maintenir l&rsquo;horloge interne et ils peuvent \u00e9galement acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le vieillissement.<\/p>\n<h2>Vieillissement et rythme circadien<\/h2>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude est la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 identifier des g\u00e8nes pr\u00e9cis li\u00e9s au vieillissement, mais elle n&rsquo;est pas la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un lien entre le rythme circadien et le vieillissement. De nombreuses \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;au fil du temps, nous observons non seulement un vieillissement, mais aussi des changements importants dans notre cycle veille-sommeil. Les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/melatonin-chronobiology\/melatonin-production-age\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es dorment moins et ont un <\/a>sommeil de moins bonne qualit\u00e9, tout en constatant des changements au niveau de la m\u00e9moire et d&rsquo;autres changements que nous associons \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge d&rsquo;or. Parall\u00e8lement, la recherche en chronobiologie a \u00e9tabli un lien entre de nombreuses maladies associ\u00e9es au vieillissement, telles que les maladies cardiaques, et le fait de travailler tard ou d&rsquo;interf\u00e9rer avec un rythme circadien sain.<\/p>\n<p>Aucun d&rsquo;entre nous ne vivra \u00e9ternellement, mais la plupart des gens souhaitent vivre aussi longtemps et en bonne sant\u00e9 que possible. Un sommeil suffisant et de qualit\u00e9, le maintien d&rsquo;un rythme circadien sain et la r\u00e9duction du stress semblent \u00eatre des moyens tr\u00e8s importants de rester jeune et en bonne sant\u00e9.
