De nouvelles recherches en chronobiologie sugg\u00e8rent que votre rythme circadien pourrait \u00eatre au moins partiellement en cause.<\/p>\n<p>La lombalgie est un probl\u00e8me courant dont la plupart d&rsquo;entre nous, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ninds.nih.gov\/disorders\/backpain\/detail_backpain.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">environ quatre personnes sur cinq<\/a>, souffriront \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un autre de leur vie. Elle n&rsquo;est pas seulement inconfortable, elle est aussi co\u00fbteuse. La lombalgie est la cause la plus fr\u00e9quente d&rsquo;incapacit\u00e9 de travail et n\u00e9cessite des th\u00e9rapies co\u00fbteuses telles que la chirurgie de la colonne vert\u00e9brale. La plupart des gens pensent que ce syndrome douloureux est d\u00fb \u00e0 la surutilisation et \u00e0 une mauvaise ergonomie, mais il semble qu&rsquo;un tout autre probl\u00e8me soit en jeu : la d\u00e9synchronisation du rythme circadien.<\/p>\n<h2>La discopathie d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative : Une douleur dans le cou&#8230; et le bas du dos<\/h2>\n<p>Notre colonne vert\u00e9brale est compos\u00e9e de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arthritis.org\/about-arthritis\/types\/degenerative-disc-disease\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vert\u00e8bres osseuses s\u00e9par\u00e9es par des disques<\/a>, qui sont constitu\u00e9s d&rsquo;une substance caoutchouteuse assurant le soutien, l&rsquo;absorption des chocs et la flexibilit\u00e9. Avec l&rsquo;\u00e2ge, ces disques s&rsquo;ass\u00e8chent et deviennent moins fonctionnels. Ils subissent de petites d\u00e9chirures qui peuvent endommager leur int\u00e9grit\u00e9. Si vous connaissez quelqu&rsquo;un qui s&rsquo;est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0cass\u00e9 le dos\u00a0\u00bb, vous savez \u00e0 quel point cela peut \u00eatre douloureux et d\u00e9bilitant.<\/p>\n<p>La discopathie d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une maladie li\u00e9e au vieillissement et \u00e0 la surutilisation. Bien qu&rsquo;elle affecte effectivement de nombreuses personnes au cours de leur vie, il se peut qu&rsquo;elle ne soit pas uniquement un produit du vieillissement. Comme tous les tissus du corps humain, les disques intervert\u00e9braux ont un rythme diurne. La r\u00e9paration de l&rsquo;ADN, la reconstruction des tissus et toute une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;autres activit\u00e9s vitales sont \u00ab\u00a0programm\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb par des horloges internes, qui veillent \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;elles se d\u00e9roulent \u00e0 des moments optimaux. Pour \u00e9tudier le r\u00f4le du rythme circadien dans les disques intervert\u00e9braux, les chercheurs ont pr\u00e9lev\u00e9 des cellules de disque dont les g\u00e8nes de l&rsquo;horloge circadienne avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9s et les ont cultiv\u00e9es en laboratoire. De mani\u00e8re surprenante, ces cellules discales \u00e9taient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmedhealth\/behindtheheadlines\/news\/2016-08-04-can-disruption-to-your-body-clock-influence-back-pain-symptoms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beaucoup plus sujettes aux dommages que les cellules discales normales<\/a> et ne se r\u00e9paraient pas aussi bien.<\/p>\n<p>Les scientifiques ne savent pas encore exactement pourquoi les g\u00e8nes circadiens sont si importants pour la r\u00e9paration des disques. Cependant, il semble qu&rsquo;une horloge interne bien r\u00e9gl\u00e9e soit importante pour pr\u00e9venir la d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence des disques et les lombalgies qui en r\u00e9sultent et qui affectent tant de personnes.<\/p>\n<h2>Cytokines et lombalgie<\/h2>\n<p>Les cytokines sont des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC2785020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mol\u00e9cules immunitaires responsables de l&rsquo;inflammation<\/a> et de la douleur qu&rsquo;elle provoque. Lib\u00e9r\u00e9es en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 une attaque immunitaire ou \u00e0 une blessure, ces mol\u00e9cules jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel dans les d\u00e9fenses de notre organisme, mais peuvent aussi \u00eatre contre-productives. Malheureusement, les cytokines semblent jouer un r\u00f4le important dans la d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence des disques. Lorsqu&rsquo;elles sont ajout\u00e9es \u00e0 des cellules de disque en laboratoire, les cytokines semblent perturber l <a href=\"http:\/\/ard.bmj.com\/content\/early\/2016\/08\/02\/annrheumdis-2016-209428.abstract\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&lsquo;expression des g\u00e8nes de l&rsquo;horloge circadienne<\/a> et provoquent ainsi une d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence similaire \u00e0 celle caus\u00e9e par le vieillissement. Les cytokines peuvent non seulement provoquer des lombalgies \u00e0 court terme, mais aussi contribuer \u00e0 la d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence discale \u00e0 long terme qui entra\u00eene des douleurs et des incapacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n&rsquo;est pas la premi\u00e8re fois que des recherches \u00e9tablissent un lien entre le syst\u00e8me immunitaire et le rythme circadien, mais c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;une des premi\u00e8res \u00e9tudes \u00e0 montrer exactement comment ces deux syst\u00e8mes peuvent provoquer des maladies chez l&rsquo;homme lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont d\u00e9r\u00e9gl\u00e9s.
