Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un terme long qui d\u00e9crit un concept plut\u00f4t simple. La progest\u00e9rone et les \u0153strog\u00e8nes stimulent toute une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;effets physiologiques, notamment le contr\u00f4le de l&rsquo;ovulation et de la fertilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>La m\u00e9latonine et la fonction ovarienne<\/h2>\n<p>La m\u00e9latonine a divers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/the-role-of-melatonin-in-fertility-and-conception\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">effets sur les ovaires<\/a>. Les souris femelles qui avaient moins d&rsquo;heures de lumi\u00e8re par jour avaient un taux de fertilit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la normale, la moiti\u00e9 d&rsquo;entre elles seulement donnant naissance \u00e0 un enfant. Les souris femelles qui avaient plus d&rsquo;heures de lumi\u00e8re du jour ont eu des effets encore plus graves, puisqu&rsquo;une sur cinq seulement a eu une port\u00e9e. C&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s peu par rapport au groupe de souris t\u00e9moin. Quatre-vingt-dix pour cent des souris ayant b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d&rsquo;un cycle veille-sommeil normal ont eu une grossesse et une naissance saines.<\/p>\n<h2>La m\u00e9latonine : un nouveau m\u00e9dicament pour la fertilit\u00e9 ?<\/h2>\n<p>Les implications de la recherche r\u00e9cente sont claires : la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/sleep-2\/melatonin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">m\u00e9latonine<\/a> influence effectivement le cycle mensuel de la femme, principalement en agissant sur l&rsquo;hypothalamus pour affecter la lib\u00e9ration de GnRH.
