De nouvelles donn\u00e9es sugg\u00e8rent que la baisse des niveaux de polyamine pourrait \u00eatre li\u00e9e \u00e0 ce changement.<\/p>\n<p>Nos horloges circadiennes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/newly-discovered-genes-cause-circadian-rhythms-to-change-as-we-age\/\">changent tout au long de notre vie<\/a>. Alors que les jeunes ont tendance \u00e0 bien dormir et \u00e0 se sentir repos\u00e9s, les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es sont plus susceptibles d&rsquo;avoir des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 s&rsquo;endormir et \u00e0 rester endormies. Cette diminution de la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil contribue \u00e0 la fatigue, \u00e0 des siestes plus fr\u00e9quentes et \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres probl\u00e8mes que nous associons \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge. De nouvelles recherches sugg\u00e8rent que la baisse des niveaux de polyamines, un groupe de m\u00e9tabolites qui diminuent naturellement au cours de la vie, pourrait \u00eatre li\u00e9e aux changements li\u00e9s au sommeil.<\/p>\n<h2>Que sont les polyamines ?<\/h2>\n<p>Les polyamines sont des m\u00e9tabolites d&rsquo;autres processus cellulaires, mais elles jouent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/6814260\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diverses r\u00e9actions cellulaires<\/a> dans presque toutes les formes de vie. Elles contribuent \u00e0 la croissance des tissus et au contr\u00f4le du transport des nutriments dans une cellule. Chez les plantes, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.academia.edu\/460245\/Role_of_Polyamines_and_Ethylene_As_Modulators_of_Plant_Senescence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">elles contribuent \u00e0 la s\u00e9nescence<\/a>, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire au ralentissement de la croissance et du m\u00e9tabolisme \u00e0 mesure qu&rsquo;une plante vieillit et approche de la fin de sa dur\u00e9e de vie programm\u00e9e. Les polyamines jouent un r\u00f4le important dans le vieillissement des plantes, mais tout aussi important dans ce processus chez les animaux. \u00c0 mesure que l&rsquo;homme et les autres mammif\u00e8res vieillissent, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.impactaging.com\/papers\/v3\/n8\/full\/100361.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leur taux de polyamines diminue lentement<\/a>. Les chercheurs pensent que cela peut \u00eatre une cause partielle de certaines maladies associ\u00e9es au vieillissement, comme la maladie d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/the-science-of-chronobiology-sheds-light-on-treatments-for-sleeping-disorders-in-alzheimers\/\">Alzheimer<\/a>. En particulier, des quantit\u00e9s r\u00e9duites de ce m\u00e9tabolite peuvent allonger le rythme circadien.<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;effet des polyamines sur le rythme circadien<\/h2>\n<p>Les polyamines sont des r\u00e9gulateurs cl\u00e9s de la croissance et de la prolif\u00e9ration cellulaires, qui affectent presque toutes les cellules du corps humain. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elles sont des m\u00e9tabolites d&rsquo;autres processus cellulaires, elles peuvent diminuer avec l&rsquo;\u00e2ge, simplement en raison de la baisse de la croissance cellulaire et du ralentissement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des processus m\u00e9taboliques cellulaires. Cependant, ces niveaux en baisse peuvent affecter non seulement nos cellules, mais aussi nos habitudes de sommeil. Les polyamines semblent affecter les interactions des prot\u00e9ines qui r\u00e9gulent le rythme circadien.
