Cependant, une nouvelle \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re que le sommeil peut \u00e9galement affecter un type de m\u00e9moire tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent : la m\u00e9moire immunitaire.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que la m\u00e9moire immunitaire ?<\/h2>\n<p>De nombreuses personnes ont eu la varicelle ou d&rsquo;autres maladies infantiles. Ces maladies sont associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;enfance parce que la plupart des gens ne les attrapent qu&rsquo;une seule fois. La raison en est, tout comme l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des vaccins, la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tcells.org\/scientific\/memory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">m\u00e9moire immunitaire \u00e0 long terme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu&rsquo;une bact\u00e9rie, un virus ou un autre envahisseur p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans l&rsquo;organisme, des cellules immunitaires sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es l&rsquo;engloutissent. Ces cellules expriment alors \u00e0 leur surface des parties de la paroi cellulaire de l&rsquo;envahisseur, appel\u00e9es antig\u00e8nes. Les lymphocytes T \u00e0 m\u00e9moire se lient \u00e0 ces macrophages et reconnaissent ces antig\u00e8nes comme des envahisseurs. Chez une personne dont le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/seasonality-and-the-immune-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">syst\u00e8me immunitaire est sain<\/a>, ce type de m\u00e9moire dure toute la vie. Chaque fois que le m\u00eame type de bact\u00e9rie ou de virus p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans l&rsquo;organisme, ces cellules T \u00e0 m\u00e9moire reconnaissent imm\u00e9diatement les antig\u00e8nes \u00e0 leur surface et stimulent le syst\u00e8me immunitaire pour qu&rsquo;il \u00e9radique l&rsquo;envahisseur avant qu&rsquo;il ne puisse provoquer une maladie.<\/p>\n<h2>Le sommeil et le syst\u00e8me immunitaire<\/h2>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont reconnu que le sommeil, ou le manque de sommeil, peut affecter le syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Bien que le m\u00e9canisme exact soit inconnu, la relation est claire. De <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2015\/09\/150929142022.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nouvelles recherches<\/a> sugg\u00e8rent que le sommeil profond, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de sommeil lent, augmente le nombre de cellules T \u00e0 m\u00e9moire dans notre corps. Au fil des mois de sommeil r\u00e9gulier, ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne peut entra\u00eener une augmentation mesurable du nombre de ces cellules immunitaires protectrices. En outre, ces cellules sont plus efficaces lorsque les gens dorment suffisamment. Lorsque les gens sont bien repos\u00e9s, les <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medicalnewstoday.com\/articles\/300150.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cellules T \u00e0 m\u00e9moire sont plus susceptibles de stocker des \u00ab\u00a0informations de base\u00a0\u00bb <\/a>qui les aideront \u00e0 mieux identifier les agents pathog\u00e8nes \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir.<\/p>\n<p>Les lymphocytes T \u00e0 m\u00e9moire ne sont pas le seul \u00e9l\u00e9ment n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me immunitaire sain, et cette nouvelle d\u00e9couverte ne va donc pas bouleverser l&rsquo;ensemble des traitements m\u00e9dicaux. Cependant, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un aper\u00e7u pr\u00e9cieux de la mani\u00e8re dont le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/about-chronobiology\/#CircadianRhythm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rythme circadien<\/a> et l&rsquo;immunit\u00e9 sont li\u00e9s.
