Cette nouvelle \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re que notre rythme circadien pourrait avoir une influence consid\u00e9rable sur notre sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline.<\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline et diab\u00e8te de type 2<\/h2>\n<p>Le mois de novembre \u00e9tant le mois am\u00e9ricain du diab\u00e8te, il n&rsquo;est pas surprenant que de plus en plus de chercheurs se concentrent sur les moyens de traiter cette maladie courante. La sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline signifie simplement que l&rsquo;organisme devient r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, qui est n\u00e9cessaire au maintien d&rsquo;un taux normal de sucre dans le sang. Lorsque nous devenons trop r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, notre corps doit en produire davantage pour d\u00e9composer et traiter les sucres. Le diab\u00e8te reste la septi\u00e8me cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s aux \u00c9tats-Unis, c&rsquo;est pourquoi les chercheurs et les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 travaillent d&rsquo;arrache-pied pour d\u00e9couvrir de nouveaux moyens de le traiter et de le pr\u00e9venir. Ils savent depuis longtemps que le manque de sommeil et une alimentation riche en graisses sont deux des causes les plus fr\u00e9quentes de la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline. Les sujets \u00e9taient huit chiens m\u00e2les en bonne sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le premier test, ils ont priv\u00e9 les chiens d&rsquo;une nuit de sommeil, mesur\u00e9 leur tol\u00e9rance au glucose et les ont compar\u00e9s \u00e0 des chiens qui n&rsquo;avaient pas \u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9s de sommeil. Les r\u00e9sultats \u00e9taient clairs : la seule nuit de privation de sommeil a r\u00e9duit la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline de 33 % par rapport aux chiens qui n&rsquo;avaient pas \u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9s de sommeil.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le second test, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a soumis les chiens \u00e0 un r\u00e9gime riche en graisses destin\u00e9 \u00e0 induire l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 pendant six mois. Une fois de plus, ils ont mesur\u00e9 leurs niveaux de tol\u00e9rance au glucose \u00e0 la fin des six mois et ont constat\u00e9 que le r\u00e9gime riche en graisses r\u00e9duisait la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline de 21 %. Curieusement, le fait de priver les chiens d&rsquo;une nuit de sommeil apr\u00e8s les six mois de r\u00e9gime riche en graisses n&rsquo;a pas eu d&rsquo;effet suppl\u00e9mentaire sur la tol\u00e9rance au glucose.<\/p>\n<h2>Les implications de l&rsquo;\u00e9tude pour l&rsquo;homme<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude de Broussard montre qu&rsquo;une seule nuit de privation de sommeil peut avoir un impact plus important sur la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline qu&rsquo;un r\u00e9gime riche en graisses de six mois. Pour des raisons encore inconnues, il semblerait que les personnes qui suivent un r\u00e9gime riche en graisses ne souffrent pas d&rsquo;une r\u00e9sistance accrue \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline due \u00e0 la perte de sommeil. Pour l&rsquo;instant, ces r\u00e9sultats suffisent au Dr Broussard pour appeler \u00e0 des recherches encore plus approfondies sur les raisons pour lesquelles le manque de sommeil a un impact aussi important sur la tol\u00e9rance au glucose. \u00c0 la lumi\u00e8re de ces informations, il est possible de d\u00e9duire qu&rsquo;une perturbation du rythme circadien peut \u00eatre un pr\u00e9curseur du diab\u00e8te de type 2.<\/p>\n<p>Il est clair que la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/blood-glucose-and-your-internal-clock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chronobiologie<\/a> joue un r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s important dans notre sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, mais cette \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente sugg\u00e9rant qu&rsquo;un manque de sommeil peut entra\u00eener une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s une seule nuit, montre \u00e0 quel point il est important de dormir suffisamment et de maintenir un rythme circadien sain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente, le manque de sommeil peut affecter votre sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline.
