Sin embargo, nuestros relojes internos son mucho m\u00e1s complicados. De hecho, cada sistema de \u00f3rganos e incluso cada c\u00e9lula de nuestro cuerpo tienen su propio cronometraje interno, con diferentes tareas a realizar seg\u00fan un horario distinto. Una nueva investigaci\u00f3n en cronobiolog\u00eda sugiere que un fen\u00f3meno conocido como oscilaci\u00f3n acoplada puede ser clave para entender c\u00f3mo los diferentes relojes de nuestro cuerpo coordinan actividades y tiempos entre s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<h2>Coordinaci\u00f3n de diferentes se\u00f1ales<\/h2>\n<p>Un nuevo experimento con moscas de la fruta ha arrojado luz sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-wuerzburg.de\/en\/sonstiges\/meldungen\/detail\/artikel\/wie-innere-uhren-miteinander-kommunizieren-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">c\u00f3mo los relojes centrales y perif\u00e9ricos (no centrales) pueden trabajar juntos<\/a> para regular estrechamente diversos procesos biol\u00f3gicos. Los huevos de la mosca de la fruta eclosionan siempre por la ma\u00f1ana, un proceso controlado tanto por la gl\u00e1ndula protor\u00e1cica como por las neuronas del reloj central del cerebro de las moscas. La gl\u00e1ndula protor\u00e1cica es similar a la gl\u00e1ndula suprarrenal del cuerpo humano, ya que produce hormonas corticosteroides que intervienen en la sincronizaci\u00f3n de diversas actividades. En este caso, la gl\u00e1ndula protor\u00e1cica produce una hormona llamada ecdisona, que indica a los huevos que inicien el proceso de eclosi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Sabemos que ambos sistemas son necesarios para que los huevos de luci\u00e9rnaga eclosionen, porque si se interrumpe cualquiera de ellos en un laboratorio cient\u00edfico, la eclosi\u00f3n se descoordinar\u00e1 y ocurrir\u00e1 en momentos aleatorios. Imaginemos dos relojes de p\u00e9ndulo uno al lado del otro. La mayor\u00eda de los relojes de p\u00e9ndulo tienen una sincronizaci\u00f3n ligeramente diferente, por lo que los p\u00e9ndulos no suelen estar sincronizados.
