El carbaril y el carbofurano son ingredientes comunes en muchos de ellos, y objeto de un estudio reciente. Como en tantos otros \u00e1mbitos, el momento oportuno lo es todo. Tanto la cantidad de melatonina liberada como el momento en que se libera est\u00e1n estrechamente controlados en nuestro organismo, ya que son importantes para su funcionamiento. La melatonina se libera en cantidades muy espec\u00edficas y a horas muy concretas, en respuesta tanto a se\u00f1ales internas como a informaci\u00f3n de nuestro entorno. Cuando estos insecticidas se unen a los receptores de melatonina, inducen actividades en el momento y en las cantidades equivocadas. Adem\u00e1s, los circuitos de retroalimentaci\u00f3n negativa que rigen los niveles de melatonina pueden verse afectados, lo que conduce a una menor liberaci\u00f3n de melatonina cuando realmente se necesita.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la autora principal del estudio, Margarita L.
