Empezamos a bajar el ritmo, a bostezar y a buscar un lugar donde descansar. Poco despu\u00e9s, nos quedamos dormidos. Este comportamiento se observa en casi todos los animales. Un nuevo estudio sobre la mosca de la fruta podr\u00eda explicar por fin qu\u00e9 proceso cerebral subyace a esta sensaci\u00f3n casi universal.<\/p>\n<h2>Moscas de la fruta, seres humanos y cronobiolog\u00eda<\/h2>\n<p>Muchos descubrimientos relacionados con el genoma humano y el cerebro humano comienzan con estudios de la mosca de la fruta Drosophila. La Drosophila es un organismo mucho m\u00e1s simple que el ser humano y tiene un tiempo de generaci\u00f3n mucho menor, lo que facilita su estudio. Las neuronas parec\u00edan tener este efecto sedante incluso horas despu\u00e9s de haber sido apagadas. Los investigadores creen que estas neuronas pueden ser simplemente el desencadenante de un proceso m\u00e1s largo de somnolencia y sue\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, los investigadores dise\u00f1aron neuronas R2 que produc\u00edan la toxina del t\u00e9tanos cuando se activaban, lo que les imped\u00eda comunicarse con otras neuronas.
