at forsyne kroppen med nok ilt og muligg\u00f8re et normalt stofskifte.<br \/>\nDet kan skyldes en nedsat pumpekraft (systolisk hjertesvigt) eller en forstyrret evne til at slappe af (diastolisk hjertesvigt) i hjertemusklen.<br \/>\nEt nyt l\u00e6gemiddel siges dog at v\u00e6re lovende i forhold til at lindre hjertesvigt, som er forbundet med s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8 og en forkortet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/newly-discovered-connection-links-eye-health-and-lifespan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">levetid<\/a>.      <\/p>\n<h2>Nyt l\u00e6gemiddel siges at v\u00e6re effektivt mod hjertesvigt og s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8<\/h2>\n<p>  L\u00e6gemidlet, kendt som AF-130, blev testet i en dyremodel p\u00e5 Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, hvor forskerne fandt ud af, at det forbedrede hjertets pumpeevne, men lige s\u00e5 vigtigt, at det forhindrede <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/sleep-apnea-hinders-formation-of-life-memories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8<\/a>, som forkorter levetiden.<br \/>\nFolk, der lider af s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8, holder op med at tr\u00e6kke vejret under s\u00f8vnen.<br opretholder denne aktivering af nervesystemet, selv n\u00e5r der ikke l\u00e6ngere er brug for det, og det bidrager sammen med den resulterende s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8 til at reducere patientens forventede levetid.<br \/>\nDe fleste patienter d\u00f8r inden for fem \u00e5r efter, at de er blevet diagnosticeret med hjertesvigt.<br \/>\nDenne unders\u00f8gelse afsl\u00f8rede det f\u00f8rste l\u00e6gemiddel, der d\u00e6mper nerveaktiviteten fra hjernen til hjertet og derved vender hjertets progressive tilbagegang ved hjertesvigt, forklarer forskerne.<br \/>\nDen del af hjernen, der sender nerveimpulser til hjertet, kontrollerer ogs\u00e5 vejrtr\u00e6kningen, s\u00e5 dette l\u00e6gemiddel g\u00f8r et dobbelt arbejde med at reducere &#8220;k\u00e6mp eller flygt&#8221;-responsen og samtidig stimulere vejrtr\u00e6kningen for at stoppe s\u00f8vnapn\u00f8.<br \/>\nDisse resultater har et reelt potentiale til at forbedre trivslen og den forventede levetid for mennesker med hjertesygdomme.<br \/>\nEn anden sp\u00e6ndende faktor for forskerne, som <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-023-37077-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">offentliggjorde deres resultater i Nature Communications<\/a>, er, at l\u00e6gemidlet snart vil blive godkendt af FDA, om end til et andet sundhedsproblem, hvilket baner vejen for unders\u00f8gelser af mennesker i href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/how-poor-sleep-ages-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> s\u00f8vn<\/a> spiller ogs\u00e5 en vigtig rolle for hjertet.<br \/>\nFaktisk viser forskning, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/sleep-problems-among-nurses-increased-during-the-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s\u00f8vnproblemer<\/a> kan spille en rolle i udviklingen af hjertesygdomme, men sunde s\u00f8vnvaner er forbundet med en lavere risiko for hjertesvigt.<br \/>\nDette <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ahajournals.org\/doi\/10.1161\/CIRCULATIONAHA.120.050792\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">observationsstudie<\/a> unders\u00f8gte forholdet mellem sunde s\u00f8vnm\u00f8nstre og hjertesvigt og omfattede data fra 408.802 britiske biobankdeltagere i alderen 37 til 73 \u00e5r p\u00e5 indskrivningstidspunktet (2006-2010).<br \/>\nForekomsten af hjertesvigt blev registreret frem til 1. april 2019.<br \/>\nForskerne registrerede 5.221 tilf\u00e6lde af hjertesvigt i l\u00f8bet af en medianopf\u00f8lgning p\u00e5 10 \u00e5r.<br \/>\nForskerne analyserede b\u00e5de s\u00f8vnkvalitet og generelle s\u00f8vnm\u00f8nstre.<br \/>\nM\u00e5linger af s\u00f8vnkvalitet omfattede s\u00f8vnvarighed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/insomnia-boosts-diabetes-risk-raises-blood-sugar-levels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s\u00f8vnl\u00f8shed<\/a> og snorken samt andre s\u00f8vnrelaterede karakteristika, f.eks. om deltagerne stod tidligt op eller var natteravne, og om de var tr\u00e6tte i l\u00f8bet af dagen (sandsynligvis nikkede de utilsigtet eller faldt i s\u00f8vn i l\u00f8bet af dagen).        <\/div>\n<h3>Risiko for hjertesvigt reduceret med 42 procent<\/h3>\n<p>  Den score for sund s\u00f8vn, som forskerne skabte, var baseret p\u00e5 en evaluering af disse fem s\u00f8vnm\u00f8nstre.<br \/>\nS\u00f8vnadf\u00e6rd blev registreret ved hj\u00e6lp af sp\u00f8rgeskemaer med ber\u00f8ringssk\u00e6rm. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/sleep-timing-vs-sleep-length-which-matters-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S\u00f8vnvarigheden<\/a> blev inddelt i tre grupper: kort eller mindre end 7 timer om dagen; 7 til 8 timer om dagen, 9 timer eller mere om dagen.<br \/>\nEfter at have taget h\u00f8jde for diabetes, forh\u00f8jet blodtryk, brug af medicin, genetiske variationer og andre kovariater, havde de voksne med de sundeste s\u00f8vnm\u00f8nstre (tidligt op, 7-8 timers s\u00f8vn om dagen og ingen hyppig s\u00f8vnl\u00f8shed, snorken eller overdreven s\u00f8vnighed i dagtimerne) en 42 % reduktion i risikoen for hjertesvigt sammenlignet med dem med usunde s\u00f8vnm\u00f8nstre.<br \/>\nDe fandt ogs\u00e5 ud af, at risikoen for hjertesvigt var 8 % lavere for personer, der stod tidligt op, 12 % lavere hos personer, der sov 7 til 8 timer om dagen, 17 % lavere hos dem, der ikke ofte led af s\u00f8vnl\u00f8shed, og 34 % lavere hos dem, der ikke oplevede s\u00f8vnighed i dagtimerne.<br \/>\nResultaterne viser, at der er en sammenh\u00e6ng mellem s\u00f8vn og <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronobiology.com\/snoring-can-cause-heart-disease-especially-in-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hjertesygdomme<\/a>, og understreger vigtigheden af at forbedre det
